Multiple folders in one project
Give Codex or Claude one project spanning a frontend, API and shared package.
Synara 1.0.1 supports projects with several source folders in Stable and Beta.
Create the project
In Create project, add the related directories under Source folders. The primary folder becomes the working directory; use Make primary to choose it and remove any folder you do not want to grant. The folder set is fixed when the project is created.
Start a chat with Codex or Claude in Local mode. Synara supplies the additional folders to the selected provider and preserves that grant during session recovery and forks. Other providers refuse multi-folder chats rather than silently dropping the extra folders.
Review changes in each folder
Git actions, checkpoint diffs and file undo cover only the primary folder. Review, commit and recover changes in additional folders separately in those repositories. Additional folders are edited live.
Worktree mode is unavailable for multi-folder projects: it would isolate only the primary folder while extra directories remain live. For independent parallel changes, use separate single-folder projects and worktrees.
Continue with Tasks and Inbox to delegate a to-do, or Organize your workspace to manage projects and chats.
